About Artificial Superintelligence Alliance
The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET) is a collaboration between SingularityNET, Fetch.AI, and Ocean Protocol, aiming to create a leading open-source AI foundation. This initiative focuses on developing decentralized Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) while ensuring broad community control and diverse input. Initially, the alliance will merge AGIX and OCEAN tokens into FET on the Ethereum blockchain. This is the first phase, setting the stage for the comprehensive integration of decentralized AI technologies. In the second phase, FET tokens will transition to ASI tokens, supporting multiple blockchain environments to facilitate broader adoption and functionality. Founders include Ben Goertzel, Humayun Sheikh, and Trent McConaghy, emphasizing a unified approach to AI development across various platforms.
The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET) is a collaborative initiative involving SingularityNET, Fetch.AI, and Ocean Protocol. These entities have proposed to merge their tokenomic networks into FET. The primary goal of this merger is to create the world’s largest open-source, independent AI research and development foundation with a unique focus on creating decentralized Artificial Superintelligence. ASI's vision is to develop decentralized AGI and ASI that remain under popular control. This approach ensures the inclusion of diverse insights, judgments, and capabilities from all segments of global human society in the advancement of AGI and ASI.
The ASI Alliance aims to advance AI technology through three primary pillars:
- Build ASI: The primary focus is on research, development, and deployment of decentralized Artificial Superintelligence.
- Show Apps, Unify Stack: Demonstrating practical AI applications today and evolving towards a unified decentralized AI stack.
- Scale Decentralized Compute: Expanding compute resources necessary for AI, AGI, and ASI at a massive scale.
The merged entity leverages each project's unique strengths:
- Fetch.AI: Provides a decentralized AI agent architecture designed for commercial applications.
- Ocean Protocol: Focuses on secure, privacy-preserving data management.
- SingularityNET: Offers a decentralized network for AI services and is heavily involved in AGI research.
The ASI was founded by leaders from SingularityNET, Fetch.AI, and Ocean Protocol:
- Ben Goertzel: Founder of SingularityNET, known as the "Father of AGI."
- Humayun Sheikh: Founder of Fetch.AI.
- Trent McConaghy and Bruce Pon: Founders of Ocean Protocol.
The ASI token merger is carried out in two main phases:
- Phase 1: Rebranding & Merging Tokens – July 1st, 2024
- Project Rebrand: Update token name to "Artificial Superintelligence Alliance" with new logo.
- Token Merge: AGIX and OCEAN tokens are consolidated into FET on the Ethereum blockchain. Holders using other chains must bridge to Ethereum.
- FET Trading: Trading operations for FET will proceed as usual.
- Centralized Exchanges (CEX): For specific details, consult your exchange.
- Self-Custody Wallets: Easily migrate AGIX and OCEAN to FET here.
- Exchange Delisting: Begin the process of delisting AGIX and OCEAN tokens.
- Phase 2: ASI Deployment & Network Enhancement – Date TBD
- Token Transition: Transition from FET to ASI token ticker.
- ASI Token Launch: Roll out ASI tokens across multiple blockchains.
- Network Upgrade: Upgrade the Fetch.ai network to support the new ASI infrastructure.
- Migration Contracts: Introduce new contracts for converting FET, AGIX, and OCEAN into ASI.
- EVM & Bridges: Enable ASI transfers through Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and other blockchain bridges.
- Exchange Migration: Coordinate with exchanges to transition spot markets from FET to ASI.
- Phase 1: Rebranding & Merging Tokens – July 1st, 2024
- Token Conversion: The total supply of ASI tokens will be 2,630,547,141, with specific allocations for each original token:
- $FET tokens migrate to ASI, at a conversion rate of 1:1
- $AGIX tokens migrate to ASI, at a conversion rate of 0.433350:1
- $OCEAN tokens migrate to ASI, at a conversion rate of 0.433226:1
- Token Migration: ASI will be supported on multiple blockchains including FetchChain (Cosmos), Ethereum, Cardano, BNB Chain, and Matic Chain. Cross-chain bridges will facilitate token migration between these networks.
- Governance: A new Artificial Superintelligence Council will be established, including representatives from each foundation, to guide operations and ensure community involvement in decision-making.
